Founded by Mike Butcher in 2009, The Europas are the premier awards for Europe’s hottest tech startups. While it concentrates on the newest companies on the scene, it also brings together the mid and late stage technology startups, as well as leading investors and media in the EMEA region. It’s a genuine, editorially-driven, independent awards, judged by peers from the startup and investor community.
The Awards celebrates the most forward thinking, progressive and innovative tech companies over 24 categories. Startups can apply for an award or be nominated by someone else, a shortlist is selected by a panel of judges, followed by public peer voting and then a final ruling by the judges.
For the last five years The Europas has grown into a fun and fantastic awards ceremony, followed by an after party and networking. The Europas is a chance for you and your team to celebrate a year of hard of work in one incredible night in London.
This year it will consist of a daytime event, The Gathering, an evening awards ceremony and party, and a VIP dinner and after-party.
Applying for a ticket
We’d like all 739.2 million people in Europe to come to The Europas. But it’s hard to fit you all in. So to create an awesome event where you’ll meet amazing people, we’re asking people to apply for a ticket to The Europas – the European Tech Startup Awards.
So, tickets to The Europas are limited and will be by invitation only, based on your connection to the tech startup ecosystem that we all know and love.
We also want to ensure there’s a healthy level of fresh blood in the ecosystem, so if you’re unconnected or outside the ecosystem right now and looking for a way in, tell us what you are aiming to achieve – we’ll keep spaces for as many new folks as possible too.
We’ll be as accommodating as we can as we want lots of new people to join us! :-)
To apply for a ticket to the Awards and The Gathering (invite only), email TheEuropas@gmail.com
There are two tickets.
One for the Awards only (in the evening).
One for the The Gathering AND the Awards.
This will be a day-time event preceding The Europas Awards in the evening. It will be in the style of an ‘Unconference‘ where attendees create much of the content, alongside a few highlight discussions by key players in the technology world. The Gathering is not about news and hype but about knowledge, learning and fun networking.
But hold on!
You’d also like your best colleagues and friends to come, yes?
You can also nominate the best people you know to receive an invitation to purchase a ticket. It’s easy!
If you are a service provider to Startups, we strongly recommend that you consider sponsorship in order to interact with this incredible community.
