Barbara is cofounder and managing partner at Hardware Club.
She started her career in Private Equity with a focus on Brands & Retail at NEO Capital in London. She then moved to Venture Capital to focus on Tech investment. After 6 years working between London and Paris, she left in 2013 to start her own venture firm.
Passionate about robots, science and design since the youngest age, she cofounded in 2014 Hardware Club, the first community-based VC dedicated to hardware startups. Hardware Club is bringing a new approach to venture capital by putting its community of over 200 selected startups worldwide at the core of its model.
Hardware Club selects startups worldwide building game-changing products or technologies and help them scale globally. It provide resources to its community through a private network of partners in manufacturing and distribution, an online platform and private events. Hardware Club also invest at early stage in some of its member startups. With over 3000 applications received from 30 countries, 500 founders from 200 startups selected, offices in San Francisco, Paris and Taipei, Hardware Club has become the leading player in the hardware startups ecosystem worldwide.
Barbara is an expert in all-things hardware. She is a regular speaker at tech conferences about consumer electronics innovation, future of robotics and emerging technologies. She is part of the founding team of The Family, the largest acceleration program in France and Hello Tomorrow Challenge, a non-profit competition that promotes deep technology innovation worldwide.
