Vincent Walsh is a Professor of Human Brain Research and Royal Society Industry Fellow at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience at UCL. He is a pioneer of human brain stimulation and has published papers on dyslexia, mathematical learning, brain damage, sleep, and plasticity in the adult brain. Methods developed in his lab are used around the world to investigate perception, learning and plasticity. He is now working with industry to develop and promote human brain stimulation in the treatment of illnesses such as depression and is applying his knowledge of brain development and learning in the sporting world.
