Yoss is one of Israel’s early entrepreneurs. For the last 43 years, he has founded or invested in over 85 high tech companies including ICQ, sold to AOL; Gteko, sold to Microsoft; Foxytunes, sold to Yahoo!; Tivella, sold to Cisco; Gift Project, sold to eBay; Answers, which went public; Tucows; which went public; Airlink, sold to sierra wireless, and many others.
He was former director general of Israel’s Ministry of Development and Ministry of Energy. He was chairman of Israel’s national oil company and Israel chemicals.
He has participated in peace negotiations with Palestinians, Egypt, Jordan and Syria.
He has served on the boards of Weizmann institute, Hebrew University, Technion, and Open University.
He was awarded the Prime Minister High Tech Award for Life Achievement
